Giving to the Javaux Music School
For over a decade, the Javaux Music School has cultivated a passion for music throughout the Quincy, IL area.
JMS strives to empower students with a high quality Suzuki education, integrity in character,
and performance opportunities that engage and gather the community and further the local music arts.
Our students have been involved in many community-supported orchestras and music performances, featured in the Quincy Symphony, the Hannibal Youth Orchestra, the QSO's Young Artist Competition, prestigious music intensives and summer camps throughout the Midwest, and beyond.
Donations made to the school fund scholarships to summer camps, tuition assistance for current students, performance venue and group class costs, and a general administrative fund.
Making Suzuki music education affordable and accessible is close to the heart and the mission of our school.
Our own faculty received tuition assistance and scholarships in their own study of music, and the
Javaux Music School would not exist today without the financial support they received as students.
Current programs that are provided free of charge to all students are:
"River Strings" Advanced Violin Ensemble
Weekly Group Classes
Public Performances in the Community (such as our All School Concert, John Wood Mansion Candlelight Tours, Spring Solo Concerts, Sunday Music Series Performances, and more)
100 Day Club
